We have an excellent selection of Men’s, Women’s and Groms wetsuits in sizes from a kids size 4 to men’s XXXL.

Island Longboards carries a wide variety of rental surfboards, including a selection of standard foam boards, and a great line up of fibreglass boards specifically designed for our local waves.

Our standard rental surfboards are available in the following sizes:
- 6'8 Fun Board (for advanced riders)
- 7'2 Fun Board (for advanced/intermediate riders)
- 7'6 Fun Board (for intermediate riders)
- 8'2 Longboard (for intermediate/beginner riders)
- 8'6 Long Board (for intermediate/beginner riders)
- 9'2 Longboard (for beginners or heavier riders)
- 10'2 & 11'0 (for the heavier riders)
We now also have fibreglass boards for rent for $45 per day. These boards are intended for someone who has surfed before or someone in the market to buy a "foam and fibreglass" board and wants to feel how they ride.
You will also be charged for any dings you may put in the board, just like when you rent a car! If you want to try these Longboards be sure to book them in advance.

We also rent body boards which are great fun for the whole family. Roofracks and straps are free when you rent boards, and we will even help you put them on!
Why Rent From Us?
We are the only store that takes reservations for rental gear. Get what you want, when you want it.
- Flexible pick-up and drop-off times - let us know when you are coming by and we will have your rentals ready for you. And remember you can drop off your rentals up to 11pm on your way home.
Our daily rate is exactly that – not 6 or 8 hours and we do not charge you extra to keep the equipment overnight!- We are the only shop you pass on the way to the beach - the closest shop to the Long Beach parking lot is 15km past the beach, which means you have to travel an additional 60km to pick up and drop off your rentals.
- Book ahead of time via our rental reservation form or telephone and we will have your gear ready when you arrive here.
By booking ahead of time you can be assured you are going to get what you want. When booking we will require a deposit.
